Happy December!!

Sending a new perspective out to you, along with a random quote. I hope you enjoy the offering and choose to explore a new perspective/viewpoint!

Personal Note:

As you saw in my Bio, I love to read and, when possible, to give you a shout-out about the books where I found the perspective, and the authors. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do and make space to try out these new experiences for yourself.

Quote of the Month:

“When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals, adjust the action steps." Confucius

New Perspective:

"The view you adopt for yourself profoundly affects the way you lead your life.  A person's true potential is unknown (and unknowable).  The passion for stretching yourself and sticking to it, even (or especially) when it's not going well, is the hallmark of the growth mindset."

Questions/Actions to Ponder:

  1. Your intelligence is something very basic about you that you can’t change very much
  2. No matter how much intelligence you have, you can always change it quite a bit
  3. You can learn new things, but you can’t really change how intelligent you are
  4. You can always substantially change how intelligent you are

**Q1 & Q 3 reflect the fixed mindset.  Q2 & Q4 reflect the growth mindset.
